President Jefferson Davis passionately wanted the true motives and heroic courage of the Confederate soldier preserved for future generations. He appealed to those of his time to "keep their memory green". My hope is to help preserve the memory of the valiant and honorable people who were the citizens of the Confederate States of America.

Much energy is being expended to complete the eradication of every vestige of Southern culture. Our flags are being hauled down, even from memorial displays. Our songs are being banned from public performance. Streets and schools named after our heroes are being changed. Monuments are under attack. The faith of our fathers is being ridiculed. And we are slowly being disarmed so that the cultural genocide will not meet with resistance.
We must vow to preserve Southern language, speech, mannerisms, music, literature, tradition, thought, custom and faith: all things that are woven into the fabric of our symbols and heritage.
