This script will display the byte length for any section of text selected in the status bar and in a title tag. To see this example, select some text on the page by holding down the left mouse button while rolling over some text. Then place the mouse over the text you selected. You will notice that the amount of bytes selected will be displayed in the title tag and the status bar. To see the total size of the page, right-click and shoose "select all". Then place the mouse over the text to see the total amount of bytes for the page.
